History: Ovak hails from a village terrorized by illithids. She took after her mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her mother taught her to defend herself. When her mother died while fighting illithids, the young Ovak began to lead the lost caravan. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Cook arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
