History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Heward was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Mayor who has hired him part-time. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Brewer born in the past three hundred years. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He worked as a nervous Brewer and found it very stressful. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Brewer.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Gifted from a young age, Zepar studied abroad. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tieflings became a terror of the countryside. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Shipwright they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Crown-heir, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She found a children's book about a Tabaxi Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Gynk was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 11 years.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. At a young age his mother died while driving off some illithids. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in dagger use. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
