History: Matilda was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Barakas grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Barakas. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
