History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Tanner they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Cartwright, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: Efferil was born with his mother's beautiful face. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and a rival would like him out of the picture
