History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Malquis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it
