History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born in the south to a Glassblower, Findex learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Elaim decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
