Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ekk grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ekk. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Unemployed they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Baker, and she later adopted a second daughter.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His first spouse was a Merchant, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Wiggan grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.

History: Ahlyssa lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Tabaxi people; and to reunite with her absent mother

Description: This exceptionally lanky woman wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty green coat over it. Her crest is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her eyes are likewise red.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with writing. She constantly tries to fill her life with writing. Aasathra is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Map Maker and was forced into it by her family; and to reunite with her absent mother

Personality: This man loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Born to a Painter, his father struggled to pay the bills. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Locksmith. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and sabotage a competitor

Description: Standing 5'6", this man wears an entirely yellow suit with red socks and a vest with buckled shoes. He has no hair. His eyes are gray and catlike.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.
