Personality: Alston wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Alston fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Born to a Barber, his father struggled to pay the bills. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. After a long history of fighting, Ethereal and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Gardener. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She now spends her time doing works of charity.
