Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. He has all his life been fascinated with painting.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Uraim alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the south were limited. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Tailor.

History: Shifting was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He wants revenge against brigands; and expand his business

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
