History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Bethrynna was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Bethrynna's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Bethrynna and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Irann grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Irann. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with singing. She constantly tries to fill her life with singing. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Three was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Jezean was born on a far eastern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Beggar. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

History: Zykroff was born the youngest of three triplets. Her first spouse was a Sellsword, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Ranala's homeland. Ranala decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ranala fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
