History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Performer. Being a Performer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Tordrid alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted.
