History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Bookbinder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and to end her boredom

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Rurik was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature falchion.
