History: Thervan lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bookbinder they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Herbalist, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Harriet grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Katherine was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the brigands.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
