She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Knight for the past few years.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Nicholas was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
