History: Tarhun was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Merla was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it
