History: Jade hails from a village terrorized by orcs. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Jade was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has worked as a Laborer like his father before him.

Description: This late middle aged woman wears a black cloak and cross-gartered white stockings and is in decent physical shape. She has wavy black hair. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and an old rival family wants her found

Personality: Valafar is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Seamstress arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: The child of a Bather, who enjoyed hunting, John was taken on many hunting expeditions. His first spouse was a Bather, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
