She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Ella was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. The family's rival house kidnapped her sister with the intent that her sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Bather. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it.
