History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Laucian hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against dire rats

History: Her divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Azzakh was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Locksmith responsibilities is difficult; and he feels threatened by others

He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: He hates Dragonborns with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Dragonborns.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Mortician work with an outfit from a few towns over. Mortician work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He tends to his Mortician job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
