Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. She is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Margery fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She was taken from her home at a very young age. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her father. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the east were limited. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.

History: He was born into a rich family. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: To protect his home; and he is greedy

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear.

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: She was born in the north. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs; and she has money and likes to spend it

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bertram embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He struck the Bricklayer job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
