Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mayor. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Abalaba was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
