He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Mindartis and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Howard was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
