History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Manea and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. She worked as a nervous Ploughman and found it very stressful. She tends to her Ploughman job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and to unite with her sister

Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. She has done her best to style her blue hair to look like a famous performer. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Dilettante who has hired her part-time. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and she seems to be bored by most things

Personality: She exudes charisma. She is a tour de force of persuasion. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Ovak was born with her father's beautiful face. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: Ulla lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Ulla alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and to unite with her brother

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and wants to work out more often

Description: Standing 6'1", this man wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty brown coat over it. His beige fur is greasy and uncared for. His eyes are likewise amber.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Tanner born in the past three hundred years. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He tends to his Tanner job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To be a Apothecary again; and money/treasure

Personality: He is mildly Dwarf supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Courier but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 15 years.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and human compassion
