Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Gardain was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Knight they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Interpreter, and she later adopted a second son.

History: He was born into a rich family. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: A thin woman, she clearly needs to put on some weight, but she still has a lot of muscle. She wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates her frame. She wears her white hair up. Her eyes are blue and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Herleva was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.
