History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Erevan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Thorpe embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He has all his life been fascinated with painting.

History: Thorpe was raised in a hard working conservative environment. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. He has achieved small success as a Baker.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and expand his business

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with music. She constantly tries to fill her life with music. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Navigator work with an outfit from a few towns over. Navigator work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She's also a talented Detective, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Jaxi grew up listening to her father's many stories. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.
