Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Cumpen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Shadow grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Shadow. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: She comes from a rich western family. Her martial abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and she is greedy

Voice: Pronounces 'its' and 'is' like 'eats' and 'ease'

Description: She likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather, and she perpetually has her bow ready. Her moppish silver hair is in a traditional bowl cut. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She bought a bow and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.
