History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her martial abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: Jacoba was born with her father's beautiful face. In her youth she was a Layabout, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger sister on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He has all his life been fascinated with music.

History: Halimath hails from a village terrorized by illithids. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Kathra alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Wants her loneliness to end; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: Gifted from a young age, Ildrex studied abroad. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: Morana was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Seamstress. She's also a talented Mason, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
