Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Ruler for the past few years.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he is wearing a tight white one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape. His auburn hair is matted, messy, and big. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

Description: She wears many layers of old clothing at all times. She has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. Her long gold crest is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her gold eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and her religion dominates her actions

Description: Standing 4'8", this woman is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. Her silver hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a cross scrunchie. Her gold eyes peer out from beneath her feathered black hat.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born in the west to a Engraver, Verin learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Engraver.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Manfred grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Description: She is of a modest build and height, but she carries herself more imposing than she is. She wears long strands of aquamarine and short green dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. Her hair is short and chestnut. Her ears are large.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and she is content

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and she wants revenge against dire rats
