History: Born in the north to a Knight, Barakas learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was raised in a desert tribe. Maynild was born on a far western desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Tanner. She bought a shortbow and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.
