Description: This western woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She wears blue robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a whip, but if one is not available she will default to her monstrous two handed axe. She has shaved her head bald. She has gleaming, smiling violet eyes.
Personality: In the realm of puns, she cannot help herself. She feels obliged to make them. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.
History: Valanthe was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: She likes to wear ponchos typically of a light tan in addition to tight pants. She carries with her a set of tridents, each one with a emerald on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. She wears her red hair up. This hazel eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Jarsali is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.
History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Jarsali liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Jarsali fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To be a Herbalist again; and expand her business

Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears a robe, a symbol of death around his neck, and a monstrous two handed axe on his belt. His brown hair is greasy and uncared for. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Half-Elf in existence. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.
History: Gennal was born the youngest of three triplets. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gennal fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.
History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Apothecary arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Fletcher they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Hunter, and he later adopted a second son.
Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Bowyer. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: Quarethon is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A gifted student he started as a Guard, but he got bored and became a Spice Merchant. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Spice Merchant for the past few years.
