History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She wears a black cloak and cross-gartered tan stockings. Her hair is red, silky, and of moderate length. Her eyes are a pleasant black.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Kasdeya was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: She would like to get married and retire; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Born to a Engraver, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. After a long history of fighting, Dean and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is greedy

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing his hectic life and new assassin responsibilities is difficult

Description: This fat northern woman has a bulbous nose and wears a worn and beaten armor. Her skin is also unnaturally pale. Her silver hair is still thick. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady blue eyes.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Luthra isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Gnomish unity. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Description: This man stands a little under 3'1" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. His silver hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. He has gleaming, smiling blue eyes.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and wants a kiss

Description: An older woman who is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times, she is not a threatening figure. Her fur is beige and very short. Her blue eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. The war was a terrible time for her, and Shifting does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Shifting was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Unemployed. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Laucian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Unemployed. He's also a talented Architect, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Engraver. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Engraver for hire.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
