However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

History: Naal hails from a village terrorized by drow. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered drow who tried to eat his hand. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She was granted arcane powers by her dying sister.

History: Barendd was raised in a hard working conservative environment. At a young age his mother died while driving off some goblins. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in shield use. He became a Fletcher soon after.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.
