History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Born to a Map Maker, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Dyer arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Elysande lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Elysande abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Theriatis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Theriatis was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Theriatis decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned.
