Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it.

History: Veloptima hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. A freak accident while working with her Soapmaker father left her crippled. She came across an abandoned tomb where she found a relic that called out to her. After picking it up she was cursed by vampirism.

Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs; and she has passion for adventuring and risk

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. The war was a terrible time for her, and Oda does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Born in the east to a Body Guard, Driindar learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. Geva enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Geva was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Geva fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
