History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Description: He is an average looking western male in his early mid-life. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his pickaxe with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His half smiles and blue eyes are beguiling and draw you in.
Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.
History: His druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. When Pallabar reached his early adolescence his Gnome mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Being a Sellsword kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and wants a kiss

She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.
History: Dell was born with her father's beautiful face. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears skinny pants and wears a brown and violet robe with the hood down. His blonde hair is greasy and uncared for. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. Gardain is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.
History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Gardain liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He bought a axe and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average woman, she is not imposing. She wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. Her black crest is long and unkept. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines red.
Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Engraver business.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Hillanot was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Engraver work with an outfit from a few towns over. Engraver work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Agnes isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. When triggered she is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.
History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.
Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and seeks redemption

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.
History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Herbalist. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bow.

History: Bertram lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Bertram abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Description: 5'4" and muscular, this northern woman is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing white cape and mantle trimmed with soft yellow waves gently in the breeze. Her chestnut hair is thinning but still full. Her fierce gray eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She disdains her fellow northerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.
History: Huru was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. After a long history of fighting, Huru and her spouse have recently divorced.
