Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'7" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He prefers to wear black clothing when he does not wear armor. He keeps his white hair in a pixie cut. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Nirgel was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He worked as a nervous Dilettante and found it very stressful. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: An older man who wears a brown shirt, with a white mid length shorts with white tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them, he is not a threatening figure. His blonde hair is heavily combed to the left. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: Nuraval was raised in a hard working conservative environment. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Further expansion of business.

Description: This man wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty red coat over it. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized opal on his left hand. His brown hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was born into a rich family. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he's looking for his big break

Description: A woman with a warm, jovial air about her, she wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized yellow coat. Her hair, while still mostly white, has prominent grey streaks. Her ears are large.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Half-Elf in existence. She also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Sculptor. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: She has a crush on the local Sculptor.

Description: A 5'6" eastern man, he likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His silver hair is still thick. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Marbas lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Marbas was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Marbas's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Miner and was forced into it by his family.

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She was granted martial powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: To unite with her brother; and she's repulsed by the pc

Description: 3'3" and muscular, this northern woman prefers to wear flannel. Her white hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. Her violet eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She disdains her fellow northerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the north were limited. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and wants to work out more often

Description: He wears a grey tunic with black highlights, and long grey pants that bunch up around his shoes. He is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly monstrous two handed axes and tridents. His auburn hair has been sun bleached extensively. His blue eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and an old rival family wants him found

Voice: Speaks in third person

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He sports grey clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. His hair is black, silky, and of moderate length. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are blue.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. A true patriot, Whurbin would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Hunter arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Whurbin was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
