History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the east; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Quarion was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Mugrunden was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Mugrunden decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Being a Interpreter kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Ovak lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She became a Cartwright soon after.

She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Interpreter they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Blacksmith, and she later adopted a second daughter.
