History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Priest hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was granted arcane powers by her dying sister.

Personality: This man loves dancing and to teach people dancing more than just about anything. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is a great chef.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Miner. She's also a talented Ruler, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: She is mildly Human supremacist, though she does not identify as such. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Herbalist who has hired him part-time. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing dancing.

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. Through the years after River was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. River's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has never given up on her dancing dream.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Ostracized due to the druidic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. Being a Marshal kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
