History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Shax was orphaned to a temple shortly after her birth. She was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above herself and to hold her god always in her heart. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Serpent lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Baker. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Spy they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Baker, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

History: She comes from a rich western family. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the west were limited. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

History: She was born in a small desert village. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and to reunite with her old friends

History: She was born into a rich family. Ostracized due to the divine powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.
