History: Born to a Tanner, her father struggled to pay the bills. In her 14th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has worked as a Miller like her father before her.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bookbinder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He tends to his Bookbinder job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. A gifted student he started as a Cartwright, but he got bored and became a Barrister. He has achieved small success as a Barrister.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Barrister responsibilities is difficult.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Riswynn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Riswynn was born on a far southern forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Shoemaker. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
