Description: This man wears a fancy brown suit, and sports empty pouches on his belt. He has a white handlebar mustache and slicked back white hair. He has a tattooed face.
Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Ploughman business.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, William was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He found a children's book about a Human Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and a deep hatred of illithids

Description: This woman dresses like a well dressed Animal Trainer does. She is muscular with a powerful set of arms. Her auburn hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. Her gray eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: She is fixated on the number 12. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.
History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. While she appears to be a normal Half-Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. In her 19th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to giants.
Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she is wracked by social anxiety
