History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Through the years after Bernard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Bernard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 3 years.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Tabaxi companion (her 'brother'). She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
