History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and revenge

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Fragrant embodies much of what other species detest in the Tabaxis. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Tabaxis.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Fragrant grew up listening to his mother's many stories. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Tabaxi conditions. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Gnomish culture. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Gnomish people; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: Puyet hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Miner. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the south were limited. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He takes great joy in being the best Brewer in town.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He's also a talented Priest, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
