History: He was born in the east. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Varis's homeland. Varis decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He's also a talented Shepherd, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Verna was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Priest hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: Astaro was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Astaro grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Astaro. She's also a talented Glassblower, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Slave Trader and was forced into it by her family.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his necromantic talents. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Gardener arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and to reunite with her old friends

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Caeldrim was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.
