History: Ghash was born with his mother's beautiful face. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Ghash alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Emen was born on a far eastern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Carter. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Ronobe and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. While he appears to be a normal Dwarf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes orcs are coming to abduct people. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: The child of a Shepherd, who enjoyed hunting, Nala was taken on many hunting expeditions. Through the years after Nala was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Nala's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by orcs. Nala was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the orcs.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it.

He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. He has done his best to style his red hair to look like a famous performer. His blue eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. The war was a terrible time for him, and Darrak does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Darrak was born with his mother's beautiful face. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he feels kind of lost in life

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Hunter they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Shepherd, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers
