During his travels, Paelias and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Paelias discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Paelias fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: She is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, she's a very lovable idiot. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Rosalind lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Shepherd they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Butcher, and she later adopted a second daughter.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. Art was born on a far western island where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Fortune-teller. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Fortune-teller.
