History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Ostracized due to the divine powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dwarves became a terror of the countryside. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is greedy; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears a tan collared shirt and blue pants. He accessorizes with a white scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across his shirt. His hair is short and black. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Berrian embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of goblins once and for all.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Berrian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and to pay off his debts

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Pijjirik will drive conversation. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Money/treasure.

Description: 3'4" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He wears dull blue sweaters, loose brown pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed halberd, just in case. He has done his best to style his golden hair to look like a famous performer. His brown eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Stableman arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He moved out north to avoid the crime he committed. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He is greedy; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Description: This northern woman is abnormally tall. She is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. Her whole body is exceptionally muscular. Her feathered hat is riddled with cuts and holes. Her eyes are red and beady.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and nothing but the best is good enough for her

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gifted student she started as a Body Guard, but she got bored and became a Spice Merchant. She has worked as a Spice Merchant like her mother before her.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and wants to open a new tavern
