History: Pyra hails from a village terrorized by goblins. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. The war was a terrible time for him, and Bertram does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Bertram has worked very hard to control his curse. During his travels, Bertram and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Bertram discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Bertram fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
