History: Pyra was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She worked as a nervous Jeweler and found it very stressful. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Mûg grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mûg. After months of barely getting by, Mûg managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Mugrunden hails from a village terrorized by illithids. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Mugrunden took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up rapier and armor he uses now. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Mugrunden was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. Laucian enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
