History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Layabout for the past few years.

A freak accident while working with his Spice Merchant mother left him crippled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Aust was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scimitar.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

History: Dharg was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Orcs became a terror of the countryside. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Mercenary responsibilities is difficult; and to be a knight again

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He worked as a nervous Roofer and found it very stressful. He's also a talented Hunter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tieflings in Damaia's homeland. Damaia decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.
