History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Map Maker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Map Maker work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has achieved small success as a Map Maker.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Description: This man wears a brown vest and prefers black and brown shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized sapphire on his left hand. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Jocelyn fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: She appears as an extremely gaunt Tabaxi, and stands approximately 5'10". She does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it, and her gloved hand is found clutching a flail. She has no fur. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Tree was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Guard. She has achieved small success as a Guard.

Description: She is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. She carries with her a set of spears, each one with a sapphire on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. Her hair is purple and curly. Her gold eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. Her first spouse was a Miller, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and doesn't want to be a unemployed and was forced into it by her family

Description: This man is very fat, and wears dark leathers with embroidery. His hair is brown and curly. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He hates Elves with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. Immeral enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Dwarven compassion; and a strong sense of loyalty to dwarven people

Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking southern young adult. He wears a tight fitting grey shirt and pants. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His moppish auburn hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His gray eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Solomon was born the youngest of three triplets. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. After a long history of fighting, Solomon and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and regain custody of his daughter

Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears a brown cloak and cross-gartered tan stockings. His red hair is cut short. His skin is flawless and his gray eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Unemployed business.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
